*drags her spoon through her chocolate pudding, giving Ernie a small smile and nodding when he asks if she's all right*
St. Mungos offered me an apprenticeship with them, I should be thrilled.
*sets the spoon down and takes a sip of Ernie's coffee*
But how can I be thrilled when I have this hanging over my head now?
I have to go to the loo, excuse me.
*scrapes her chair back and heads towards the women's bathroom, turning right at the last second and walking halfway up the staircase, sitting down on the step and looking out of the window*
The Order of the Phoenix. It still doesn't seem real. I mean, I know I wanted to help out in the war, but....
*leans her head against the glass*
The only thing I want right now is for Ernie and I to be as happy as possible. But we can't be as happy as possible if there's a war, can we?
*chews on a nail absently*
I don't even really know anything about this Order, except that Dumbledore's in it. I assume Harry Potter's in it too, since where there's trouble, there he is. Which means that his two friends are in it too. But who else? I don't even really know too much -- all I really know is that I'll somehow know when I'm needed.
*stifles a yawn and then stands up and steadys herself, feeling a little dizzy*
The aftereffects of that oath that I had to say still haven't completely worn off yet, either.
*bites her lip, half debating to set up a meeting with Dumbledore, then yawns again*
I can sort it out tomorrow -- best get back before Ernie starts wondering where I am.
