How can the world suddenly become so much more astoundingly wonderful in such a short time? She loves you. That birthmark behind her ear is still there. She still reaches out in the darkness to be sure of you just as you are reaching for her. If I hadn’t been completely sure some student was bound to have been wreaking havoc in the Common Room without the benefit of my supervision I would never have left that closet.

I almost broke all normal constraints of logic today and thanked Mandy Brocklehurst for pairing me with Hannah and expediting our fortuitous reconciliation. But she was sitting in the library, thick as thieves with that Terry Boot. Two Ravenclaws scheming alone together?! So not on, man!!! I will be appreciative of Fate causing Mandy to unite us...on the inside. Chances of getting plotted against are much lower that way!
*packs up his dop kit and heads off to Hufflepuff, smiling at the Mermaid as she winks at him*
