So exciting things....
I have firm PLANZ for Supanova.
This weekend, I'm going to try valiantly to get Missy out of the leftover of my Riding Habit, since it's the perfect colour, weight and texture.
I SHOULD get it out, if I cut like Mum used to (ie.... NONE AT ALL LEFT OVER)
Part of me is tempted to pull apart the riding habit since I want to make a new one anyway in a more historically accurate colour (like the grey wool-mix I bought recently). The sleeves for example are the perfect shape for her, so the sleevil is half done already! And the skirt? Well there's a metric tonne of fabric in that to cut skirt panels out of.
I also bought some blue dye to try and dye the crepe I already have to a closer colour. I may do that tomorrow if I can't fit it out of the amount I have.
I'm so undecided!!!! Tell me your thoughts!
The other costume I'm not going to say what it is at this stage, I'm not sure whether people will recognise it, but I don't care cause it's beeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutiful and age appropriate! I have ordered the fabric, found a suitable wig, and also found some really good reference images. I still have to order some accessories and some lace, but that will happen next payday!
