Some kind of record.
So far, I've posted every day this week. It's kinda fun. So today I give you a bunch of random stuff that isn't all about BSG. Just mostly about BSG.
So. BSG stuff first.
--Raya Yarbrough's official site has the lyrics for "Lords of Kobol" from the BSG season 2 soundtrack! They're in Senegalese, which is pretty neat.
--Upon careful rewatch of the BSG season 3 promo, plus a good look at the caps, I have discovered that Kara does not pinch Leoben's jugular as previously thought, but in fact stabs him in the neck with something. Hm...this seems to be her method of choice for disposing of Cylons, doesn't it?
--In honor of SciFi Friday starting up again, and to bemoan the lack of BSG, I am declaring every Friday from now until October 6th to be BSG Picspam Fridays! And I bring you a poll:

And now, the non-BSG stuff.
--Do me a favor, flist? When you call other people, especially when it's something important like getting information about something, please turn off your damn television!! I'm temping at the vo-tech center, for the adult ed office. Most of my job consists of giving people information on the GED test, and then signing them up for said test. And I understand that the situation in the Middle East is dire and all, but when you call me to get information on getting your GED, I want to hear your question, not be distracted by the television blaring in the backgroung. Seriously, this guy's TV was on so loud that I could hear every word of the news, and I kept having to ask the caller to repeat himself because I was too busy listening to his TV.
--On the other hand, please make sure that when you do call me, you are actually speaking into the reciever, and not holding it three feet from your mouth in a misguided attempt to avoid germs, or something. Because I can't help you if I can't hear you, and it does tend to get loud in the office, especially when all the students come in and try to flirt. And say "thank you" at the end of our conversation, and say "goodbye," too. Also, please remember that I am working when you call me, and as nice as it is that you are getting your GED, I don't want to hear a long story about how you need your GED because you want to get a job. I also don't want to know why you dropped out of school. I am a future teacher, so I will never understand (and probably not approve).
--The lovely ragdoll gave me a little vial of something called "Smut" from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. This was exciting, because I have seen this everywhere on my flist and really wanted to check it out, but never got to it. But this stuff smells pretty! Damned if I know what scents went into it, but I think I smell sandalwood, which is my favorite scent ever. And it kinda smells like...cotton candy plus baby powder. Which is interesting cause I hate the smell of baby powder. But I like Smut.
--Victor Garber is in a new show called "Justice" on Fox, which I will totally be watching, but only because of Spydaddy. And Kerr Smith is in it, too. And I will watch 'Standoff" because Gina Torres is in it.
--I am currently in love with Benji from "So You Think You Can Dance," even though he looks vaguely like Clay Aiken and is probably gay. And I am also in love with Ivan. And Heidi.
--I need another fandom. Any suggestions?
eta: I am not sure what to make of the newest BSG spoilers. They are making my head hurt. No links or anything, and let's keep the discussion elsewhere so that the spoiler-free may remain that way. But to the new spoilers, I say "Huh?"
