What is the term for...
...that particular noxious rhetorical trick, where one elides all the steps between A and Z? It's not quite reductio ad absurdum - I'm referring to the way all the efforts of someone to point out racially problematic issues get swept aside, erased, and referred to as "yelling at people and calling them racist".
I've skimmed over the headings here:
