I have stuff to say about Supernatural. I know, I'm scared, too.
Is it wrong that I like the angels? I blame Castiel and his absolutely sinful voice. I swear, he could just read the dictionary and I'd pay good money to hear it. And because I've seen Uriel in Prison Break, I know he's bad-ass, and I like it, okay? I want them to just stomp on everyone. I hated new Ruby a little less this time around (though I still don't forgive the umpteenth Sam-gets-lucky-onscreen shot; DOES NOT DO IT FOR ME); but she still pales in comparison. Uriel looked at Sam like he was a bug--a BUG--because of Ruby and I loved it. Because...ick. Not for reasons people think, either, what with her being in someone else's body. (This week, body-swap sex isn't explored in the ickiest way possible!) But because ewww, it happened, and ewww he told Dean about it in excruciating detail. Even Captain Overshare ("I've been re-hymenated!") is like "Oh, I miss Hell" after that. And Uriel just managed to do the same thing without apologizing for it. And Castiel was like, "He has a point, but I'm too classy to bring it up. I'm just going to glower and be disappointed over here."
The angels are just awesome. Shut up, they are. They are!
Preview spoilers/speculation: I believe that Castiel is still under orders to listen to Dean, so there's not much they can do with their current attitude to force the Winchesters' hands here. Basically, it will get to a point where the Winchesters are on the ground, but they won't say boo about She-Talks-to-Angels. (I didn't care about her name, and, no, I am not apologizing for that.) Because Dean will say "Knock that shit off." And Castiel will, indeed, knock that shit off. Uriel will do as well, but he has like one more time of being told to do what the clay monkeys tell him to do before he goes rogue, The Prophecy-style. (Which is a surpassingly awesome reference to have in mind for this show.) OMG I TOTALLY COULD WRITE FOR THIS SHOW.
