the gay mafia has been replaced by the gay assistant corps

I FINALLY have an apartment and I'm pretty much all moved in. It's not completely organized yet, but its getting there. I just got cable and internet today which was MUCH needed. I've definitely been going through some CNN and Reba withdrawal. I managed to watch the entire HP series and Entourage: season 3 in the time I've been here. It's a good thing Best Buy is like 3 blocks away. Yeah... cable is a must.

Anyway, it's a small studio apartment (well technically a junior-1, but... its basically a studio) on the Upper East Side in the Yorkville neighborhood. I live right by the Asphalt Green here and about 7 blocks from the Gug. I'm enjoying the new freedom, but I also miss home. I'm a lot closer now than I was in Indiana, I'm only an hour away now, but it's still hard. I am heading home this weekend to relax at the beach, so that'll be nice. =)

I start working in a little under a month. How much am I not looking forward to that? But I'll enjoy my month off. And finish setting up around here in the meantime.

Ari Gold is my hero.

Only four months until the next HP movie!!! (After re-watching all the movies, the obsession has been reinstated). I really just want a trailer or something to keep me entertained for a while. And maybe like 10 more books. Sigh.

Umm, the ND alumni network has zero record of me. And then I tried to reapply, both as an alum and as a student and neither one would accept me and both claimed I didn't exist in their records. Not sure how that makes me feel just yet.
