oh, grin. This is just - just spot on. I have a deep and abiding love of culture clash stories, and this just hits my buttons in so many ways. Ronon asks the right questions, and in the right ways; your leadup is just right. This kind of thing, a lot of the time, can seem staged or forced, but the progression you made here is just perfect. I didn't see it coming at all, which works really well, here.

And then - John hadn’t realized that he was still sort of having fun until he abruptly stopped. Oh, yes. Excellent, just right. And I love Ronon turning to Teyla, because I've always assumed that they must have the best / worst conversations about Earth things and Earthlings, trying to figure them out.

In conclusion: Ronon's right, Earth is weird. And this story? is excellent.

Heh. Ronon not getting stuff is really something that the show should explore more (Teyla too) - because dammit, it's just plain funny. :D

You can be on fire more often if you like - no complaints here.
