I'm trying to figure out whether to do Nano this year. On the one hand, I love it. It's so much fun.

On the other hand, I haven't an idea. Throughout the year I sort of had it in the back of my head that I would redo my attempt from last year, changing the whole plot and refining the characters. But now I'm not so sure I'd want to do that.

Which leaves me with... nothing.

And I'm worried that if I'm not enamoured with my idea, I won't finish. Mostly because that's usually what happens.

Then there's all the other stuff I want to have written before the end of the year. Which, if I do nano, means October and December (which is always crazy-busy for me because of Christmas and shopping and visiting and drinking).

Wrath, a PotC fic that won my finishathon contest over at multific, which shouldn't take long once I start, but I've been sitting on it for over a month when I've been actively supposed to be writing it, let alone the fact that I first got the idea for it my second viewing of AWE, way back during opening weekend. It'll probably be around 3k.

ABCs of MWPP, which is really 26 ficlets featuring all four boys. About half of them have been started and a handful finished, but I really, really want to have all 26 posted by the end of December. I easily have another 25k to write for this.

Something unnamed, for da_halloween, which I'm actually not sure I'll finish by the end of December, its Hallowe'en due date aside, but it's something I want to have the first three or so parts posted before the year's out, so let's say about 10k.

Mistletoe, possibly, because it's a fluffy Lily/James, like I haven't written lately, and it's almost finished. It would only need another 1k and some editing.

I also would mind writing something for galpalficathon because the idea of it is just so great, but I'm not sure I would be able to fit anything in. But that is looking less and less likely.
