Well, so this seems to be the fun and eventful path of my life as it is shaping up so far:
I am most likely (as in it's my first choice, as in I'm going unless something that is out of my control changes) going to Evergreen come the fall. I am attending with plans to study for pre-med studies, to come out either with a degree in forensic sciences or with a biology major with a pre-med focus to then attend med. school. I'm gonna use the next few years of education to figure out my exact med focus (forensics or Emergency Med). Both interest me, I'll just have to see which clicks better. Hehehe, actress gone all educational and shit...hahahaha. I still love acting, and honestly I miss it, and if I think too much about not doing it, well, that's no good. The thing is, I've been pondering this for over a year, off and on...and it took me awhile to allow myself to really consider it seriously, but once I did something about it just felt right. I think I can be amazing at this...and though I think I am a good actor I don't think I'm one of those change your life with a part actors. I would expect amazing things from my acting career, things that I just don't think I am at the level to do, and I don't think that more training would bring me to the level I would want to be at. I think I could be a good actor, but I think I could be an amazing doctor. So, there you have it. As far as Evergreen goes, the more I know about the school the more I love it. I am so excited to get out there and see it. Not only is the program exciting and the school friendly, but the location is amazing. It's on the west coast, and though it's not California, it's the west coast non-the-less. Plus, it's right on the water, in a beautiful Olympia, and surronded by national forests and parks, all good for exploring, camping, and there is some of the best sea kayaking right out there. Not to mention that it's near seattle, so there's a great balance between city life and nature. The school is also so open to making sure students get the programs they need. Yay, I'm excited!
Other than that here's some fun things in the near future: Trip to Vermont with my dad to go snowboarding (for me)/skiing (for my dad), visit from Becca over her spring break, trip to visit Evergreen and then a visit to Sarah on the way back home, camping with my dad in early June, roadtrip cross country with stops to camp/site-see/do fun stuff on the way to school. That's what's pretty much planned so far...hopefully they'll be more to come!
Good times, good times...
