I was reminded the other night why there are so very few femlaes I can stand hanging around with- they nag, they use trapped questions, and they constantly make the mistake of talking to guys as if they were female.
First, the nagging. Gals, if they're doing something you don't like (or not doing something), tell them once. If it continues, either get over it or dump them. Do NOT try to change them- you won't like the results. Guys, make a visible effort if she asks nicely and it's something you're willing to change. If you're not willing to change, be prepared to tell her so, and for the possibility of the relationship ending. Confident women don't settle.
Second, trapped questions. Gals, are you trying to get your guy to upset you or are you just stupid? This is a nasty, low-brow tactic and you deserve to be told the truth- yes, you DO look fat in that dress. Now take it off and try one on in your own size!
Last one- realizing who you're talking to. Men, with very few exceptions, do not respond to subtlety, do not mind read, and do not remember details. If your conversation involves or requires any of the above, you're talking to the wrong gender. This is not meant to be offensive to men- it's more of an attempt to bridge the communication gap. As to the comments about women- get over it. Gals, you've got more backbone than that and are fully capable of breaking bad habits, such as those mentioned above.
