"And every dream tells it all
And this dream is your story
You dreamed me a heart
You’re the dream operator"

Gotta Love the Talking Heads. :)
So I finally have a full time job-Yay.
The only bummer thing is that it is about 1 hour 15 minutes away from where I currently live. :( The drive isnt really that bad, until you have about 1/2 hr left, then you hit construction and general cluster fucking of drivers.
Anyway, everyone is nice, except for the unlicensed girl who has been training me, she hardly says anything and I'm like..wtf am I supposed to do? When I do end up trying to do something, she says I do it wrong...whatever. The owner asked me yest how long I had been there and I said it was only my 2nd day and he said it felt like I had been working there for weeks already which was a compliment.
We also had an emergency with an animal not breathing and I jumped right in to help(this of course occured during our staff meeting with everyone watching) while the other tech didnt move at all. This certainly impressed the practice manager who pulled me into her office and told me so afterwards, and I'm thinking, well...it's my job. There's no sense in losing your head in these situations.
I hope I can stick out the commute. Once I move to LAingsburg it'll cut the drive time to only 55 minutes, but still that's a lot. *sigh* It's a job with great benefits, but ...?
