HAPPY BIRTHDAY TENEBRAE NOSTRO!!
Yes, that's right Tenebraenites! Our little community had its first post put up one year ago today. So happy birthday to Tenebrae Nostro and a big thanks to all the people who make the community what it is. Obviously an RP community is nothing without its players and I have to brag that all of you make up what I know for a fact are some of the best players out there in RP land. A year ago we started off as a role playing community for those with discerning tastes who liked to rp but also wanted to craft a fine story and feel absolutely free to write more than one line replies (one line replies have their place in dialogue, sure, but we wanted to create an environment where people could feel comfortable describing more and making the players feel like they were really in the story). Therefore, over the year, we not only had some great games, but some incredible creative writing too within the threads themselves.
I'd love to say thank you to those of you who have been with us from the very beginning and stuck with us. You are our core and our soul. To our newbies, already you have contributed so much by infusing the community with new blood and new exciting prospects for further role-playing, thank you. Of course, to those who have come and gone (but still watch), we wish you well, thank you for your contributions and invite you to come back whether, and if, you so choose in the future. Our door is always open.
I also want to say a special thank you to my co-mod who works hard behind the scenes a lot. Smith Mod takes good care of our character list, making sure that it is updated, religiously helps keep all the links and tags in order and tidy, and makes sure everything runs smoothly.
This weekend you'll see a few new posts. One will be a open thread to the whole community for a themed party of some sort to celebrate Tenebrae Nostro's birthday, another will be probably be an administration thread aimed at letting you know what we are working on for the near future, and the last will be a compilation of some of our best role-playing. So go ahead read through some of our stories and nominate your favorite threads! Any thread up to today can be nominated as long as it is complete by midnight.
