The dental surgeon has rescheduled my consultation appointment a second time. It went from Tuesday at 3:45, to Monday at 4:30, to Monday at 9:00. I joked with D that I better stop answering their calls, or they are going to reschedule my appointment to yesterday and I'll have already missed it.
Speaking of appointments, I finally got a volunteering interview scheduled with the hospital. It isn't until November 20, and I am dying of impatience. Unfortunately, that won't get me into the hospital any sooner. Snark. Hopefully I will be able to start soon after the interview, cause I want to be able to put something about volunteering into my letter of intent essay for school.
And speaking of school applications, (I am all about the segue today!)(Do you ever look at the word "segue" and think "seg-yoo"? Just me? Okay then.) U of T's application site still says "come back to this page on November 1st to download the application form". Come on people, it's November 3! Get it together! I want to know what I have to write for this essay so I can have another panic attack!
Also, (and speaking of essays, this entry is turning into one)(ooh, another seg-yoo!) today is the day I go to the Brick and get my new couch. I hope it goes smoothly, or else I am going to have to rent a bulldozer and level the place, is THAT covered under your warranty, bitches?!?!
I have tons of fun plans for this weekend. Tonight S&M are coming over for Star Wars episode V and another poker challenge, tomorrow I'm going to Ikea and then to roxy-fondue's party, and Sunday I will be going on an excursion with Le Dutchie (passledutchie) which you will all be able to laugh at next week.
