Spidey is back?

I was browsing yahoo entertainment news because I'm at work and taking a break from yet another lengthy paper when I notice that they are making 2 new spider man movies and Tobey M. has signed on for both. Wow...
Now it's been awhile since I've seen Spiderman 3. I only saw it in the theaters. Maybe I should netflix it because I don't know how I feel about there being new spiderman movies lol. After the end of X-Men 3 I was happy it was over, it ended at a good point (after killing how many of their main cast?). I remember having a similar feeling about Spiderman 3...but I could be wrong.
Raimi said production wouldn't start until 2010 and that they may do what Peter Jackson did and film the two films back to back (which means the movies would be connected for so than the previous 3). It will be interesting to see.

Any who, it's dead here in the library. Though I did get the urge to murder patrons, which is nothing new.
We have these items that are restricted only to be taken out by certain classes of students. Even then, the items are under lock and key and they are very sensitive materials not to mention very expensive. I go to work to open the library and what to I find? A $1,000 plus dollar assessment test left at the door of the CL, unattended. It gets better. I open the drop box and there is another assessment test stuffed into it. We explicity tell students NOT to leave these things in the drop box because they're too bulky and will clog the drop box.
Okay, so what if they need to return them and it's after hours? Sorry kids your SOL. You read the fine print and agreed to the fine print on the patron forms and you know you're not supposed to leave them unattended or in the drop box. The thing that is really funny is that we have all these rules to protect the students taking the damn things out. Lets say some ass noticed the test just sitting there in from of the library before I got there to open up. What if he took it? Well, that means the original patron would be out $1,000 plus dollars to replace the test. These students fucking know that these items are expensive so why are they being so irresponsible?
The sad thing is, if they bitch and whine enough to the right people, they probably could probably get off scott free. It has happened (though not really in the library, I'm thinking of a certain professor and parking violations).
I shouldn't be as worried as I am because the assessments aren't bought with CL funds, they're bought by the school of education. But still, it's sensitive materials and in the hands of certain people, they could be used either very inefficiently or used dishonestly.

...okay...done with rant! Off to work on my paper :)
