Jack-O-Lantern
i've never in my life met so many people who have never carved a
pumpkin! on third floor last night they had a "pumpkin carving" party
so i went up to hang out (cuz i LOVE that stuff)....and all these girls
were so confused about how to carve a pumpkin! i never would have
guessed that these girls never got to do this. they were so grossed out
about the insides, and hated the smell and were just like...how do i do
this? it made me sad. but happy that my mom let me do all of that stuff
even to we were "christian". i don't see anything wrong with holloween,
st.patciks day, valentines day...ect. my kids will celebrate it all.
it'll be great. man i love the smell of pumpkins. heh. it was a great
time. i got to show some of them how to properly scoop and clean
their 'gourds' out. and then proper techniques for carving. i so wanted
to just chuck a handfull of that stuff at someone. heh. it woulda been
like old times. i'm gonna carve a pumpkin and set it outside of
my door. too bad we can't put a candel in it. hmm...i'll have to find
another sort of lighting device.
so thats my big news. carving pumkins. its a good thing to me. very happy times.
