Essay.

Sexuality! This is something brought up by AJ, and I think our different perspectives on sexuality and characters actually have a lot to do how we sometimes differ from what our characters do! And that’s actually very interesting. So this is my essay in response to hers!

Before I start, I will say that I am a largely sexual individual. I do masturbate, I do like the idea of sex, and I am very aware of the people that I am interested in. Is this TMI? I don’t care. When it comes to being attracted to people, I largely prefer girls, but there is an occasional male. But I just can’t see myself having sex with one. I don’t think my sexual preference affects my role-play, since I easily role-play het and slash with males and females, depending on who I’m playing with and what my preferences are.

How does this affect my characters? I do think about a lot of them in a sexual light. Not all of them, but I do put serious thought into very little things. From stupid things like penis size to how much they masturbate to whether or not they would masturbate. These thoughts occur to me on a regular basis. And there are times when it’s negative, but I do think sexuality is very much a part of characterization and how they handle themselves in light of it. After all, sex comes up in role-play a lot; in CFUD, people can’t have sex, but they are aware of the fact that they can. In ID, they CAN have sex, and surprisingly, very little sex actually goes on.

I’ve done little things in my munhead about this before, but I’m going to take it through my list of characters. CFUD (and I’ll do the overlaps at the same time) and then ID. It’ll be a lot less detailed than AJ’s since I play an obnoxious amount of characters and I’ll get tired.

ID!Roxas versus CFUD!Roxas

There is a large difference here. ID!Roxas is largely influenced by his time in the Organization, and largely because the friends he made when he got there. As it goes, he likes sex! He hasn’t had it, but he’s had a girlfriend, he likes Naminé (a lot-I know, shocking in a RPG, a Roxas who likes her, but I am a fan of our Naminé and think she’s probably the only decent one on the internet), and he’s generally had a lot of sex thrown at him. Having a sexual awakening wasn’t that difficult. In terms of sexuality, he’s pretty emotionally stunted and doesn’t have it worked out, but I’m fairly certain he likes it! He likes girls! He does not like boys. At all. It just doesn’t register for him, so that’s just how he rolls.

He’s pretty different from CFUD’s, who is largely stupid about a lot of sex. He knows what it is, and I’m sure he gets turned on when he makes out with Axel, but I think, largely, he’s too concerned with working shit out to really be sexually charged. He gets a lot of the jokes because he’s around people who would make the jokes, but he’s very much an idiot about sex. He has a pretty huge crush on Himawari (I think half of CFUD has a crush on Himawari, so this is actually hilarious to me; it’s also hilarious because of Scott and Vienne but that has nothing to do with my canon character RP!) and he does like Axel. The difference between those is that with Himawari, it’s more “she doesn’t even really know me! But man, she is cute.” With Axel there’s just a … thing. It is. Ask Roxas to define his feelings and he’ll flip out at you and get in a fight with you. That’s like having him define his identity that he’s not sure he should have.

As it is, Roxas’ emotionally stunted behavior in both games affects his ability to be sexual. He has a HOT roommate in ID and has a lot of sexual tension with her, but he can never act on it because he pisses her off so often. He has it really, really bad for Naminé, but he’s so focused on protecting her that he forgets that maybe he should grab her hand and kiss her. Roxas is dumb that way sometimes. And it’s the same in CFUD, largely because of his lack of Sora, and largely because there’s still shit he’s working out. He’s Getting Better, but yes.

Kilik

I’m not differentiating between the two because I think I largely play them the same. Anyone who knows me knows I am really Fond of Kilik/Simca. It’s a pairing that makes sense, there is a lot of canon that makes it seem like they have a really reminiscent way of approaching one another that’s not entirely brotherly and sisterly, and it’s very interesting to me. But this is only a part of his sexuality.

I think, largely, at this point in his life, Kilik is probably asexual. He’s obsessed with Takeuchi Sora. He spends a good portion of his life trying to be best friends, trying to do things with him, and then he creates the Tropheum Tower law and goes and obsesses from a distance. I think that before he hid himself away, he was largely more interested in sex. I don’t think Kilik is a pimp like Sora-not in the least-but I do think he could have had girlfriends and comfort sex and probably banged his sister more times than he can count.

His sexuality, as it stands, is asexual because of his obsession, but heterosexual overall. I ship Kilik/Gravity Children because he loves them and I think an argument can be made that all the Gravity Children had a lot of sexual experimentation with one another. However that happened, Kilik is still someone who likes girls. He likes Rika, he likes his sister, and I think if his head wasn’t in his ass, he might like Om or even Ringo (though the latter would be a bit of a stretch).

When it comes to sex, however, I think he’s largely a romantic. He’s someone who loves and wishes to treat someone right and have it come at the right time. I think this would influence anything he does. He’s very tragic on the love side because he’s always second best. The nice guy and so forth; if it was a romantic comedy that’s not Pretty in Pink, he’d get Rika! But Air Gear isn’t a teen movie from the mid-90s, so there’s no chance of him getting the girl. He’s obsessed and he’s killing himself, so although he could slip into being sexual and touchy with his sister, it’s not something that largely changes his disposition. His life will always be about Sora, unfortunately; the moment Sora grinned and looked up at the sky, his life was changed.

Joshua

Again, not differentiating.

Joshua is highly contradictory. In the game, Joshua is a very flirtatious type of character. The way he carries himself is very suggestive, but it should also be noted that he’s not someone who is touchy, or really does anything with that. There is a point in the AU where Joshua makes a joke about taking Neku off for sex and having time alone with him; I am personally of the belief that the AU is not different personalities, but exaggerated personalities. Neku’s “omg I’m so emo” personality is largely my proof of this. It’s not very different and it does inform my characterization of Joshua. Joshua is someone who, I believe, would make sexual allusions! He’s also mocking and stupid and does whatever feels best in a moment. It’s how he rolls.

However, Joshua hates people. There are very few people who would hit on his sexuality note, and they have to be interesting enough to do it. I believe he would have sex with someone to see how they would tick or how they would respond, but I think he would largely be against the idea. Joshua, strangely, would like to only have sex with someone who grabs his attention! And yeah, it might be “someone special.” He’s not cuddly, he’s not touchy, I think if he’d make out with someone, it’d be a huge deal.

As for his preference: I do think he’s largely homosexual. In that I do think his character is represented as a homosexual character. The way he carries himself, the way he goes on about things, it’s just very homosexual. Unfortunately, it’s also stereotypically homosexual, but I’m just saying, I can’t see him banging a girl or even having a vague allusion of interest. When he’s around Shiki in the AU, he reads very much that gay best friend than someone who would like a girl. I hate stereotyping, but sometimes it happens.

Now, mind, he does love the world! But there’s a difference between Liking Humanity and Wishing it Would Trust People and having personal preference, and Joshua obviously isn’t a normal type of [spoiler] when it comes to certain things. I do think he’s very selfishly invested in things, and the thing with Neku is the same! And in CFUD, it’s largely becoming Miharu and I don’t know where that came from but it is there. Oh well.

Ichijou Takuma

Ichijou is … hard. To do this with. I don’t have him completely worked out yet and I don’t have a lot from canon to really work with, but I can say the following!

- He likes cute girls. He likes Yuuki and he’s very good at dealing with girls otherwise. I don’t know if this means that he particularly objectifies them, but he does ask for Yuuki’s kiss at one point. However, Takuma isn’t as sexualized with females like the others.

- Which leads to point two. I do think that he’s probably bisexual. Of the traditional sense. He likes both boys and girls and would like to spend time with both of them! He probably has a little thing for Kaname, but it’s more of that “wow he has power, I worship that!” sort of thing than anything else. Which is badly worded, but you know what I mean. And then there’s Shiki, who he’s completely comfortable about having an openly sexual moment with in the middle of a garden. I think that says something.

I do think he’s capable of having sex and is a sexual being, I just don’t think it’s one of those daunting constant concerns. He’s more concerned with a lot of things and trying to be a balance in the wake of Kaname being a scary motherfucker. He’s very good at following orders but isn’t completely mindless about it or like a guard dog (like Aidou and Kain seem to be at times).

NOW ONTO ID ONLY.

Gokudera Hayato

I’ve said it to numerous people and I’ll say it here: I don’t think Gokudera is very fond of girls. It’s largely why when the Gokudera/Haru pairing started floating around on hitman_reborn, that I was confused. I was like, “Did we read the same manga? Where does he show interest in girls?” I think it’s a largely interpretive thing, but I do play it as that he’s not comfortable around girls. He’s willing to protect them and care for them after a LONG stretch of being in a position where he has to, but he’s largely disinterested in the opposite sex. Honestly, I think he’s largely disinterested in the same sex, too. I don’t think Gokudera is someone who would have a lot of crushes either when he’s younger or when he’s older. He’s too focused on his angst, trying to be good enough for Tsuna, and trying to be the best fighter he can be. This means being able to kick ass with a million boxes and largely being a genius and yes, that doesn’t leave much time for fucking on the side.

However, I do think Gokudera is not asexual. His interest in Tsuna blurs the lines a little, but I do not, and will never, think he is entirely conscious of how he feels for Tsuna. I think he’s a little bit in love with him, but I don’t think he sits around with a flower pulling petals off it and saying, “He loves me, he loves me not.” I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. A lot of it is because he doesn’t think about it! But I do think he’d act on impulse. If he was attracted to anyone, he would act on impulse, and it would be something that would just happen.

In ID, he’s with Yamamoto. It’s not as if they talk about how they’re boyfriends or what they do. It’s largely the same stuff they do in canon; they hang out a lot, they train, they protect Tsuna, Gokudera treats him like shit and bosses him around and says he’s better than him, and they make out. A lot. And probably fool around. It’s not something that they plan or really think too much about. I think Gokudera is largely of the homosexual lean if only because he’s more likely to do this stupid stuff with boys, and not have to think about it. After all, Gokudera is largely an idiot savant. He does a LOT OF STUPID SHIT like running three miles and getting run over to save Tsuna. He doesn’t overthink shit like this. But he does like stuff and he is an incredibly passionate individual, so I do think it would lend to his sexuality.

Kuchiki Rukia

It’s no secret that I ship Rukia with a lot of people in Bleach! Kaien, Orihime, Ichigo, Renji, and Byakuya! That’s a lot of people to ship her with! However, Rukia and Gokudera are very similar in that they are very focused on Other Things (… I actually think this might be a trend with half my characters, go figure) to really be focused on sex. Which, again, isn’t to say that she lacks a sexuality. I think she has one! I think she openly expresses interest in both genders (Orihime and Kaien and Renji) and I think this is something to keep in mind. I play her that way, too-as bisexual, but not entirely aware and not thinking about it. I do think Rukia is the type to have crushes and occasionally like boys, but she’s also the type to have crushes and feel too down on herself to do anything about it.

However, Rukia’s perception of others sexually, physically, and so forth is largely what informs my characterization. Because she punches people in the face, acts tough, acts like she really knows what she’s doing, and it’s because of the different people who have accidentally hurt her or made her kill them in the past (thanks, Kaien). She’s afraid of getting hurt and she also thinks she’s not good enough to be with anyone she’s interested in. Yes, she has friends, and yes, she does treat them like friends, but incidentally, she’s also amazing at blurring the lines a little when it comes to quite a few of the most important people in her life. It’s not everyone, but she does have a whole lot of sexual tension compared to even the protagonist of the manga.

As it is, I don’t think Rukia has everything worked out! I think she does know when she likes someone but doesn’t really have the “well, crap! I like that Orihime girl, too” thing worked out. She just does and then feels like crap because of it. Because that’s just how Rukia rolls.

Kururugi Suzaku

This can probably be the shortest section. Yes, Suzaku is likely sexually experienced! Yes, he has been in the military! No, that does not mean he’s messed around with guys and in fact, I am one of the few people in the fandom who does not think he’s banged guys while in the military. Maybe I’m missing some subtext somewhere…? But as it goes, I think he’s fairly heterosexual. He’s attracted to Euphy pretty much from the moment she drops in his arms and I think that’s a sign that he’s a fairly typical teenage boy in the way of hormones. HOWEVER, he’s also a respectable teenage boy who falls in love almost at first sight. Thus: he’s heterosexual. And Euphy-sexual. He’s also a little honor-sexual and likes doing the right thing. He really does understand that letting the Japanese leave Japan was likely the best idea, even if he knows that he’s letting Zero go. And in ID, he’s definitely only into Euphy. Even if he cares a lot for Lelouch and has sexual tension with Kallen, he’s pretty sold on Euphy.

Watch canon hook him up with Anya to spite me. BUT I can see him with Anya, too. With development and him moving past that, so I’m okay.

Mikura Kazuma

Anyone who’s read Air Gear and is a Kazu fan knows probably two things about him:

- Kazu doesn’t respond to boobs very well. In fact, he doesn’t respond to them at all, but he can tell that Akito is a guy from the curves of his ass.

- Kazu is very helpful to girls, to the point that a lot of girls have a crush on him. He carries their books and does everything for them. He’s chivalric and does his best to help them out. He doesn’t seem interested in them beyond helping them.

On top of all this, Kazu is the most attractive boy in his school, he’s a foreigner (I believe that means he’s American or half-American), and he has a sister. All of these things actually inform my characterization. In one of the recent chapters, it says that Kazu’s parents are randomly on vacation somewhere and that he and his sister are staying alone. Although we never ever see his sister, I assume she and Kazu are close enough that he cares for her like he cares for other girls. Girls are things to be protected, in Kazu’s eyes. Protect them, help them, and if they get hurt because he fails to protect them, then it’s bad.

Now, that said, Kazu is aware of the possibility of liking girls, he just doesn’t think about it. He thinks about protecting them! Being there for Ikki! Trying his best for whatever he can do to help Ikki! Doing his best at AT! AT AT AT A T AT AT AT AT. Which is basically the boy’s thought processes. If he was awakened to his sexuality, he might know otherwise, but I do think he’s too focused and he was much too focused in ID when he first came in. Spitfire was the one to jerk him out of that and they had a relationship. It happened and Kazu probably identifies as homosexual now. He doesn’t really look at other guys and find them attractive, but he does like the idea of messing around-but AT. Always. Comes. First.

When it comes to girls, I’m of the belief he thinks they’re a little untouchable. By having a crush on them, it’s almost objectifying them-and that just isn’t how Kazu rolls. It’s okay for Ikki or Onigiri or Buccha, but he doesn’t work that way. I think he can, when he gets older, and maybe once he settles into being the Flame King and has his regalia back in canon, but until he really does stand on his own and completely at Ikki’s side, rather than a pedestal beneath Ikki, then he’s going to be how he is. That’s just how he rolls. Until then, he’s going to go “oh shit, boobs ugghh why are they in my face this is so awkward I’m sorry you’re being objectified that way!!!” And probably like boys, because that’s just how he works.

I don’t think he has a lurking crush on Ikki, for the record. I do think that he thinks Ikki is one of the best people alive but that’s just how their team works. There’s a whole lot of people like that.

Rokudou Mukuro

Ha ha ha ha, this is awkward. I don’t, and have never, seen the argument for where Mukuro sounds like a fruit in the manga. Furthermore, I have never seen an argument for Mukuro/Tsuna and the fact of it squicks me. Yes, he likes Tsuna, and yes, Tsuna is someone who deserves his respect and Mukuro dies for him, essentially, but no, Mukuro does not want Tsuna’s body In That Way. I think he’s suggestive about it because he’s a jackass, and how else can that be said?

Overall, Mukuro sees a large amount of people as tools. Chrome, Chikusa, Ken, Lancia, and MAYBE Hibari are not tools. Hibari is questionable because he remains on Mukuro’s radar pretty much constantly. However, Mukuro largely doesn’t like a lot of people and sees them for what they’re useful for. I think he doesn’t have a lot of respect for the entirety of Vongola and would prefer to interface with Tsuna. I think that he’s someone who hates a lot of people and would rather rip out their internal organs. I think he’s a sadist and really fucked up and probably gets more out of ripping someone apart than having sex with them. That’s just how he rolls.

As it is, he does see some tools as more useful and appealing than others. I play him as largely bisexual. That doesn’t mean he’s a fruit or flippantly homosexual, but there are the occasional people that hit him as people he wouldn’t mind being around. Chrome kind of transcends this, and he does have a relationship with her in ID. It’s very fucked up and he fucks with her head a lot, but she understands why he shows her stuff and fucks with her, while he understands that she’ll never agree with it. When it comes to Iori-it’s a situation very similar to Lancia. He’s large and he can be used, but he’s also attractive enough in some ways. He’s fucked up and sitting on the edge of things and that intrigues Mukuro a lot. As for Hibari, I think Mukuro finds him intriguing. I don’t think he has him worked out yet, but then he does; the fact that Hibari likes to hurt without thinking that he likes to hurt is something very interesting for Mukuro.

I should note that Mukuro doesn’t use sex in a power play. He’s not a huge rapist and he doesn’t go around fucking everything that moves. I also don’t think he particularly needs or desires sex, but I do think he likes it when he has it and probably doesn’t obsess over it. I play him as remembering his past lives, but he’s also an eccentric along with that. He likes stupid school uniforms and Care Bear T-shirts and is generally really fucked up. That’s just how he rolls.

But no one will be more important than Chrome to him. Chrome is, in a lot of ways, his world; she strikes him and makes him realize things and makes him act differently, and Tsuna realized that. He would die for Chrome without thinking twice. She is his little Chrome, and blurring the lines is just how he works with her in ID.

Lockon Stratos

I will make this short because I feel like I talk about Lockon’s sexuality too often in different venues and I’m honestly tired of discussing it. Lockon is straight. Lockon likes older women. This is canon. However, he is straight with that open-minded lean. I do not think he has a thing for Tieria, contrary to what canon says, and I think he’s very much the same with all the Meisters; I think Lockon is nice to a lot of people and it would not be difficult to blur the lines because that’s just how Lockon rolls. In ID, he has a thing going on with Simca and it’s comfortable and when it stops, he won’t care, because he’s not the type to settle down. He’s obsessed with revenge and probably hasn’t had a proper relationship in his entire life. Being too obsessed with something that he can’t focus on sex too much? Wow, another person in the trend! Go me.

Takayanagi Masataka

Masataka, like almost all of the characters in Tenjho Tenge, is a heterosexual character with a heterosexual interest and he also has a pretty strongly defined sexuality. Playing outside of that sexuality would be Weird, so this is going to be quick, as well. Masataka has a tiny dick! He thinks little of himself at times! He masturbates a lot! He likes Aya! Did I mention he likes Aya? He likes Aya a lot. It’s not just her boobs! She is his best friend, however, and he spends a lot of his time being there for her to the best of his ability. She is someone that he needs to protect and nurture and be there for because she’s unstable on her own. He cares a lot about her.

In ID, during the aphrodisiac plot, he and Aya made out, but Aya flipped out and he felt really guilty, so guilty that he will never bring it up again. Partly because, yes, he really liked it. And partly because the point I’m taking him from? He’s pretty much accepted that Aya and Nagi belong together. He has no right to get in on that, but he still likes her and that will never stop. He and Nagi respect one another now, but it’s still complicated.

So, yeah.

Katara

Wow, I am losing steam and this is already really fucking long. So the ones that are easy to answer, I’m going to be concise on! KATARA LIKES BOYS. She works better with boys like Jet (passionate ones), but a part of her really works with someone like Aang. I do ship Katara/Zuko-I know, how dirty of me!-but that’s because there’s a really interesting dynamic there. She wouldn’t be anything but heterosexual. SEX wise, I don’t see her having it until she’s older, but I can see her making out. In ID, that might go a little differently, we’ll see how it rolls. But in ID, she likes Aang mostly and that’s just how it is.

Karolina Dean

AGAIN, SEE CANON. Karolina seems sexually experienced with Xavin and is CANONLY a lesbian. She likes girls! She finds them hot! She’d go on dates with them! In ID, she has a budding thing with Nico because that’s what she would really like, but a part of her feels guilty because of Xavin. She doesn’t want Nico over Xavin or Xavin over Nico; she likes both of them and loves both of them. So, that’s that. NEXT.

Bobby Drake

I don’t think of Bobby Drake as a homosexual character. However, multiple writers have indicated that he might have a homosexual side, so I think he’s bisexual-at most. He likes woman and he generally looks at them in the “let’s objectify them!” way. He’s not someone who really looks at guys that way. This said, he has one of the most epic ships in ID, so I should at least devote some time to it.

Bobby/Dante/Yuuko. Who would have thought that’d become a pairing? With Dante, Bobby just gradually … fell hard for him. He fell hard for him and he doesn’t really know how to help that. I don’t even think he realizes it, but if anyone in that threesome says I love you first, it will be Bobby. He loves the other two. A lot. He’s a really emotionally dependent individual who wants nothing more than to be around the people he cares about. He has a low self-esteem (lol trend) and he lets it get him down a lot. He also fucks up relationships pretty bad and doesn’t know how to handle himself. With Yuuko-it just kind of happened. She was there, and their dynamic is more of a mature understanding than what it is with Dante. He doesn’t need to go out of his way to prove himself to her, but there’s definitely a mutual attraction there. When he moved in with them, I doubt he ever thought he’d be fucking both of them, but it kind of happened and it’s good.

Bobby is just really happy with his situation. However, he’s insanely jealous of Nero. Not surprising, but yes. He’s also a bit of an attention whore.

Julian Keller

ANOTHER QUICK ONE. JULIAN LIKES GIRLS. HE LIKES THE THREE BLONDE GIRLS I AM TOO LAZY TO LOOK UP OH RIGHT THE CUCKOOS AND SOFIA AND LAURA AND MAYBE NORI. He is not a virgin! He only likes girls! He has not had sex with any of the above but boy, I bet he wouldn’t mind! However, he cares a lot for his friends and protecting them comes first! I think this is clear. Also, Sofia is basically his first love.

Todd Anderson

I have actually put a lot of thought into Todd. There are a lot of fics where Neil goes:

Neil: Hey, Todd.
Todd: What?
Neil: Ever kissed a girl?
Todd: … No …
Neil: Wanna try with me? ;)

THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT WOULD EVER HAPPEN. Todd and Neil are NOT gay for each other. Neil is gay for Todd; Todd likes girls. In DPS, Charlie brings a poster with a naked woman to one of the meetings and Todd is enthused by it. He’s generally interested in what’s going on with Knox and his girl and is someone who is visibly into girls. He’s blushing and uncomfortable and a nervous kid when it comes to girls. As a result, Todd likes girls. It really doesn’t go any other way. I’d be more verbose about this, but yeah.

HOWEVER. I do think that if Neil wanted him and made a move on it, Todd would try it. I don’t know how it would go, because Todd registering as homosexual doesn’t really … happen in my mind, but I think he would try because he thinks Neil is one of the most Awesome people alive. I just don’t think it would ever happen. Neil has a lot of respect for Todd and that goes vice versa.

Angel

THIS WILL ACTUALLY BE FAIRLY BRIEF SINCE I AM PRETTY SOLID ON THIS. Angel loves Buffy. Angel loves Cordelia. Angel has a bit of sexual tension with Faith. He’s also attracted to other women. He had that one night thing with Spike, however, but I get the feeling that it was one of those Things that you Never Bring Up Again No Matter What. He wasn’t with a soul at the time, and they did spend a lot of time together, and Angelus is probably a bit more fucked up than Angel, but I think he’s like, 98 percent heterosexual.

Peter Petrelli

HAHAHA PETRELLIS. Okay, Peter is a little more than … normal with his brother. However, I’m going to say that he probably wouldn’t bang him or Claire in ID; they’re just sketchy! That’s what the Petrellis are best at! That’s how their mother raised them! I do ship Petrellicest, but it isn’t relevant to how I play him in ID.

In ID, he loves his brother a lot and his love for his brother came before his interest in a girl. Nathan is The Most Important Person in Peter Petrelli’s life. If it came to dating someone or being with Nathan, he would be with Nathan, without a doubt. He’s come to the point where he understands that Nathan means more to him than anything. He understands this to the point that others understand it. It’s just how he rolls.

Luke fon Fabre

There is some thought among fandom that once Luke comes to be more mature, he’d want to fuck Guy? I don’t agree with this and it’s not a part of his sexuality. I think Luke is largely a heterosexual character. He loves (yes, loves) Tear and he thinks a lot about her. He hasn’t been alive for very long, but he has been long enough to know and understand that he wants-and it’s boobs. And he doesn’t really show any context for the opposite. Yes, Guy might be gay for him, and yes, so might other people, but Luke first and foremost thinks of Tear.

And yes, he and her are having sex in ID. So that goes.

Kirijo Mitsuru

This one is actually more complicated. I don’t think Mitsuru is as sexual of a being as I would like her to be-which is unfortunate, because damn, Mitsuru is hot. I do play her as if she’s gone through the S Link with Minato and therefore, there’s a strong implication that she has likely had sex. However, I don’t know that for certain, so I’m essentially running that she hasn’t. In a lot of ways, Mitsuru is emotionally stunted; she hasn’t experienced a lot and she’s very awkward when she has any chance of emotionally being involved in something. She’s confused. She’s uncertain as to how to handle herself and is generally someone who struggles in those kind of situations.

However, this doesn’t mean that she’s stupid in the least when it comes to these. Just like she is when she comes to the SEES members, Mitsuru is actually more “blunt” and “forceful” and not certain how to handle situations.

The way I play her is that she has a certain “type.” That type is powerful, headstrong individuals, usually-or leaders. This generally means Minato or someone like a business man; these are the people she’s grown up around all her life. Of course, she also has the sketchy interaction with Yukari, but think it’s just sketchy, and I wouldn’t say she’s someone who would ever be gay with someone. Even if it would be really hot.

I can see her eventually progressing to the point of being emotionally dependent; it would just be awkward and weird-but I feel that’s how her S. Link with Minato plays out. I think that’s why she and Akihiko haven’t gone anywhere and why it’s easier for her to be demanding when it comes to Allelujah. This is just how Mitsuru rolls. I think eventually she will change, but she’s very caught up in being In Charge, so when it comes to sex and sexuality, that extra step will take a while. Being in a place, feeling unsettled, finding out that she may be fictional-it’s all very discomforting stuff.

Riku

I’ve been working on this stupid essay ALL DAY LONG. IN SUMMARY: RIKU LIKES SORA AND KAIRI. HE DOES LIKE GIRLS MOSTLY BUT THEY ARE KIND OF HIS WORLD. And stuff.

I’d write about the new characters I have (Hikaru and Yuuki), but I’ve been writing this all day.

In Summary

All of my characters are kind of sexualized to some degree! And I have no issues with writing their sexuality, role-playing it, or even if it comes down to it, writing sex-though the last one gets me bored and I’d only do it if it were in a setting where it was game canon (IE ID and not CFUD).

I think that’s all.
