Watching Season 7
Well, since last weekend I'm watching 24 S7. The same topics and hackneyed subject as always, but it's being pretty well. All the changes are being good, Washington instead of L.A., FBI instead of CTU, a female president instead of a male one... and the all the new characters are good (and of course the old ones)
More especific comments, under the CUT. SPOILERS UNTIL EPISODE 7X11
- I love the trio Bauer/Almeida/Buchanan, it remains me the three mosketeers.
- I like Renee Walker. A female FBI agent who is against Bauer's methods but is becoming in someone that has to use the torture too to get what she need.
- I really like President Taylor and I can´t avoid to think that this character would have been perfect for Mary McDonnell (but not because the First Gentleman is "Adar", LOL)
- I love Janeane Garofalo's character, Janis. Is the "Chloe" in FBI quarters. And certain I believe she was made thinking in Chloe.
- Jack Bauer/Renee Walker relationship. I've watched 11 episodes so far but I guess this has to end in something. I remember now S2 when Jack met Kate Warner and eventually they had a relationship. Let's see what happen between these two in this Season.
- I love Buchanan... just because he's hot and he's awesome. I wonder if she is still married with Karen.
And some of the things didn´t like so far are the First Gentleman's plot, all the topics and hackneyed subjects regarding terrorism, are always the same whatever it comes. The obsession with torture is another thing I don´t like, not the fact that Bauer tortures people to get what he need but this topic is being a obsession to the writers.
I will keep watching Season 7 right now so... I'll tell when I end with it. (BTW, tonight Fox airs the last two episodes)
