I'm sorry... There will not be a big review this week... It's not because I didn´t like it, just the oposite... I loved it, but I'm really sad these days because BSG is ending and I'm not in the mood for writing almost anything about the episode. V_V I really think I'll need to watch the entire finale and let some time pass to be able to make a big review of the finale. I'll just say a few thoughs:
- I absolutely love the hangar deck scene with the red line and seeing people making their choices. I get goosebumps everytime I watch it.
- I love the Adama/Kara scene... finally we find out what she is... she's his daughter. Well, this is not a joke because I have the feeling that we will never know what exactly happened with her after watching this scene. But we'll see next week if I am wrong or not.
- I love the Helo's high spirit... just the oposite of Athena, I guess she put the pic of Hera in the remembrance wall. She thinks Hera is already dead.
- It was a great idea not to watch what exactly Anders tells Adama and Kara. It really works pretty well this way.
- Julius Baltar rocks.
- I love the fact that Baltar didn´t pass the line...he is still a covard after all, but I guess he'll join the mission next week and the scene with Lee it's very important to understand what he will probably do.
- Laura Roslin broke my heart, the fountain scene was beautiful. It was crying with her at that moment. And the way we see her in the hangar deck scene was painful.
- I don´t know yet if the flashbacks work... Ron has said that he didn´t want to split the finale it was impossible. So, I guess we'll have to wait to see if they make sense. To see the first 14 minutes with flashbacks was weird.
- I love Kara Thrace...she has really changed since Sometimes a Great Notion. The moment with Laura was beautiful.
- The Adama/Cottle moment was very nice.
- and finally... I LOVE WILLIAM ADAMA. Just because.
Well, I see that actually I have written more that I had thought. Next week will be very hard.
