Another Rehab project on the way
A lot has been going on. I am a part of a company that fixes distressed properties, and sells them. It is an extremely difficult and challenging business, but at the same time very rewarding. We always seem to get the worst of the worst. When the project is completed, neighbours Thank us for getting the eye soar out of their neighbourhoods.
There is a funny story behind the one we are about to close on. We had made an offer on the house next door 2 years ago. When I saw this one, I told my partner we should make an offer on it, but procrastination got the better of me, and I never did. Fastforward to 2006, the house was on the MLS, but the interior is non exsistent. I think the owners was trying to fix it up himself, I don't know if he ran out of money or patience. We will be closing on 4/24/06, if there are no hitches.
It is currently a 2/1, but we are trying to increase it to a 3/2 or a 4 bedroom/2 bath. We may have to raise the roof, and install stairs. We will see what the costs will be.
