Ok so I can't stay away from the tri. It's the only sport that truly motivates me to get in shape, which I really need right now. I'm just overall a more happy person when I am consistently swimming, biking, or running.
I'm going to stick with sprints and train for the Lake Sammamish Tri I did a couple years ago. I don't care that I will probably not do an Olympic, or that my times are crap, I just want to have fun and see what my body can do.
Commuting to Seattle is going to throw a wrench in my workouts, but I think I might have the guts to get up before the 7:05 ferry a couple times a week. That means waking up at about 5:30, which is really only 40 minutes earlier than my normal workout times. If this doesn't work out I can always figure something else out.
Yay for spring and getting warmer weather-ish!
