Oh What A Good Day!
Well got up this morning and felt good. Got dressed up in a nice grown up outfit of slacks, silk shirt and my cute low heel black ankle strap shoes. Put on pearl studs and even put on some make up (GASP!)I even got compliments today about my long eyelashes - if only those suckers would curl. I don't understand why they won't - my hair is curly ergo my eyelashes should curl. Oh well. Went into work and felt very adult and grown up until they actually wanted me to do work. I did - some. :D But just had a really good day. Ya know the kind of day where there was nothing particularly outstanding about it, no one event that specifically carried with it a sense of celebration, just a good day. The kind of day when you know that it's your own two feet you're standing on and it feels good to be in your own shoes. I giggled, talked with co-workers, and had a good day.
It's was so very surprising to have a good day that involved my spending time at the office. Oh the joys of not giving a flying rat's patootie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the weather - oh glorious chilly refreshing breeze that's better than any mint gum I ever chewed. So sweet. And CSI starts in 11 minuten. Yah!!!!!!
Today it really is all good. And tomorrow is Friday! Can't wait. :D
