Finally living in a country with a royal family

Dec 12, 2007 12:42

I don't actually know why that's important. Especially since they run to old and wrinkly sons. But I feel like a Trincess should keep her options open??

It has been suggested that I should blog about the entirely glamorous experience of living in the capital of the EU: the champage cocktails, the meeting with VIPs, the floods of invitations. I think that would involve a level of dedication I'm not prepared to stretch to, however: on the other hand, life here can be pretty glam.

I'd never seen giant ice sculptures containing vodka before, for example - nor had I taken shots in the form of seaweed globules containing blue curaçao. lux_alexander, what is the proper bartending name of those most excellent jelly thingies???

I also feel like my life has become 20 times more glamourous just since I began to watch Gossip Girl. I now want to go to NY and spend as many of my overvalued euros as possible, buying the entire contents of many stores. $400 for a pair of shoes begins to seem more than reasonable when translated into my native currency...

shopping, brussels, eu, parties
