Well, as much as I have resisted getting an iPod, I broke down and got one (see last post about bricking it, ha - no worries though, I got a replacement). Now that I've set it all up, I've been kind of thinking I'd like to start syncing podcasts to it (podcast is a word that I really hate, but it's pretty much the most commonly accepted word for an internet mp3 broadcast, and so it goes). Specifically, I'm thinking of smarty-pants podcasts.
Of course there is
Big Ideas as suggested by Steve in some past post of mine, that I probably didn't tag correctly and won't be able to find now. Then there is
this list of "intellectually stimulating podcasts" that will occupy plenty of my time, I am sure. Then of course there is the
Cory Doctorow podcast.
Last of all, since the new nanos support video, the thought of getting
these Christopher Hitchens lectures (listed on the playlists) on there somehow has occurred to me. I'm halfway through god is not Great, and I am coming to really enjoy Hitchens (thanks Chris!).
Maybe I will look for that old post later today.... I absolutely have to get to work right now, blah.
