Do my three posts yesterday make up for doing a quick drive-by tonight? LOL
Aside from difficulties with our internets this morning (caused by the discovery that someone had hacked into our wireless network, necessitating us to change some things around to more reliably KEEP PEOPLE OUT), I had a very nice day. Played quite a bit of Fable 3, which of course means I didn't do a whole lot of knitting. 1060 stitches on the sweater, plus 3 rows on a shawl I'm also knitting. (It's a mystery shawl whose pattern I receive in weekly chunks, every Friday. I'd been looking forward to the new clue, and couldn't wait to get going on it. These projects will be in contention somewhat all month--that's okay, though, I want to do them both!) I keep forgetting to take pictures of the sweater while it's light out, but I do have a decent shot of the shawl:

The color is actually more purple than the photos show--my camera won't do the purples correctly for some reason.
The highlight of today was my bi-monthly Community Sock Club lunch. It's a knitting club run by a friend of mine who owns a restaurant and a yarn dyeing business. The sock club consists of sock yarn, a pattern to go with it, some goodies, and a full three-course lunch (with two wines). It's a lot of fun getting together with everyone every other month!
Surprisingly, Mother Nature seemed to be on my side today. Although it rained all night last night, it stayed dry all day while we were out (running errands in the morning and then going to my lunch in the afternoon). Now it's very wet out again, but it waited until I was snuggled up at home. Nice!
