Ding Dong the fruit flies are gone
Fruit flies are my nemesis. Last week I bought a watermelon and the next day the little suckers were everywhere. (That store is now on my avoid list) And once you get them they are almost impossible to get rid of. I scoured the internet and tried 3 different things to get rid of them. I would catch one or two....whoop dee doo. Then I had an idea. I took a juice bottle and put a banana peel and an apple peel in it and left it overnight. In there morning there were about 20 of the things. I slapped my hand over the top and took it outside and away they flew. One day later and my house is fruit fly free. I feel like the victor in an epic battle.
