On loving my Mac
Two things have happened in the last week.
(1) My work computer has been especially bad, requiring de-fragging, re-installing various key pieces of software, and generally spontaneously doing weird shit (suddenly can't access your personal folders in Outlook! yay!) and requiring lots of rebooting.
(2) A long-awaited replacement battery has arrived for my personal Macbook Pro, and doing the battery calibration thing (run it down, totally recharge it, repeat a few times) has encouraged me to use it more than usual this weekend.
All of which is to say, gosh I miss working on the Mac all the time. The screen is easier on my eyes. The hardware is better. The software is less buggy. Everything runs faster and smoother. Why, oh why, does corporate America think it's better to stay with MicroShit?
