Flashforward 1x06
OK.
Well, I'm kinda freaked out, now. But at the same time, I'm loving this show and really enjoying piecing everything together each week.
Just a few points:
1. I think Mark's starting to drink again is what leads to Olivia and Lloyd being together. This week... pretty much confirmed that for me.
2. Simon is quite deliciously diabolical. And, OK, maybe I'd quite like someone to try seducing me with quantum physics. I suspect it would work, which in Simon's case is a scary thought because (and this is pure conjecture on my part) I think he may have a few sociopathic tendencies.
3. Um, so, what exactly was Lloyd involved in? Oddly, I think it probably won't affect my perception of him. He's awesome.... and, yes, redemption storylines always get me. Also, there's the JACK DAVENPORT factor (DUH).
4. I like Dylan, too. Also, quite impressed with the show for having an autistic character who ISN'T portrayed as a Rain Man-type genius. And I like that Dylan and Charley are friends already.
5. That scene when Lloyd goes to fetch Dylan from the Benford's house and has his FF-deja vu moment?
Tension you could have cut with a KNIFE.
6. LOVE the Bowie-referencing episode title, plus the obligatory use of the referenced song. Because David Bowie is, quite possibly, some kind of deity, and his songs should be on American TV more often.
7. ....did I mention that Joseph Fiennes is hot yet? 'cause he did the sexy-glowery-eyes thing....
