Um. So... I kinda love this episode. I love this episode so much I pretty much want to marry it and have its babies right now.
It's just... well, it's got funny bits and sweet bits and sad bits and awwwwwwww bits. It's nice and revelatory and smart and sobering, all at the same time. (I get that what I just wrote probably doesn't make sense... join the club.)
One of the things I like is that, aside from House and (briefly) Wilson, none of the regular cast appear, and the characters that we DO get to meet are (mostly) great - like Dr Nolan, who's a total BAMF, just for being absolutely as manipulative (and almost as messed up) as House, and Dr Beasley, who's like... Cameron, but less annoying and more sensible, and Alvie, who's AWESOME, and Random!Unexpected!Franka Potente, who's sweet, and nice, and at the same time totally able to manage House.
So yeah. Wonderful ep.
(Oh... the Radiohead song that played at the beginning, over the credits. Loved the choice of song. Perfect for the situation, too.)
