Lost. Glee. The usual...
Spoilers for Lost 6x16 and Glee 1x19.
Lost: What They Died For
Um, OK, so I totally called that. Jack is The New Jacob. I knew he was going to be. And, frankly, I'm kinda glad he is.
Meanwhile:
-Ben. Oh, Benjamin. I just want to hug him, you know? I have this feeling he can still be redeemed, still brought back from the dark side.
-Richard better be OK. I mean, I know regular stuff won't kill him, but does that apply to Smocke as well? HE BETTER BE OK.
-OH, NOW I SEE. Desmond's the back-up plan. That's why he gets the cool weird stuff like the psychicness. Still wondering about what he's up to in Reality-B, but... eh.
-Speaking of Reality-B... the concert that Des and Kate are off to. It's David's recital. Which is also the benefit that Miles was talking to. And obviously something big is going to happen there... I just wish I knew what.
(I'm also kinda excited because David's mom is going to be there, and I want to know who Jack's ex is. Personally I'm hoping for Juliet, but I'm open to other possibilities.)
-ANA-LUCIA. This is all.
-Um, OK, is it just me, or does Rousseau look weird when she's, um, clean? Also, Ben/Danielle, guys. Totally.
-Heeeeey, that's weird.... now, in the pilot, Kate sewed up Jack's wound, right? And now Jack sewed up Kate's! Symmetry, yay! Also there was that whole Jack/non-evil-Locke conversation, which was crammed with Reality-A references. I was half-waiting for a "live together, die alone", but it would have been awkward.
-Er. Not that I particularly care about Widmore but...
SMOCKE BETTER STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM PENNY. *glare*

Glee: Dream On
Ooookay, there are so, so many reasons for me to love this episode.
#1. NEIL PATRICK HARRIS. I should not need to explain that.
#2. ....um, more Idina Menzel, too. AND she sang "I Dreamed A Dream"! :D
#3. IT'S DIRECTED BY JOSS WHEDON. WHO IS GOD, OR AS CLOSE TO GOD AS I GET, ANYHOW. DUDE.
#4. Matthew Morrison and NPH singing together. um. yeahhhh....
#5. Artie being AWESOME and at the same time BREAKING MY HEART. Tina was awesome too.
(You know, before this ep, I had never seen Kevin McHale standing up. It was weird.)
#6. Oh. Oh, that's what Jesse's up to? Huh. I thought it would be something bad, like trying to sabotage New Directions, not... helping Shelby get in touch with Rachel. BTW, I'm kinda happy that they went with Shelby BEING Rachel's mom, because... dude, Idina and Lea look way too much alike. It would be a waste if they hadn't done it. Also, that might actually be my favourite version of "I Dreamed A Dream" to date.
(also, yay, this means I can legitimately like Jesse now!)
#7. This Les Mis thing. Now, first off, Will would be a much better Jean Valjean. Secondly... oh, I'm glad it was that song and SPECIFICALLY THAT SONG on Shelby's tape, because... oh, a mother who gives up her child to be raised by others, that's SLIGHTLY relevant, [/sarcasm]. Also I now have the urge to see Idina as Fantine, but whatever.
#8. One more tiiiiny little thing... I think, based on the stuff with Mercedes lately and that one little moment with Artie this week, that since she's been pregnant Quinn has been turning into the "mama bear" of the group... you know, looking out for the others, being around to comfort them, that sort of thing.
It's not horrible... but IDK, I'm not sure where I want her story to go. *shrug*
