Tonight is our final dress rehearsal of "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead", which means that previews begin tomorrow! And opening night is next Friday, April 22nd! Kyle captured this photo on his handy dandy i-phone during last night's rehearsal. Luckily, you can't see the chocolate that was on my face for the entire rehearsal, which I only discovered after I took off my costume! There was an official shot he took which made it look like I was floating down to the stage on angel feathers as I descended the crates, so much fabric billowing around me.
When not rehearsing and traveling, we've been enjoying time with family; we went to El Azteca on Saturday for Dad's belated birthday, which is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in the city. So good!
My mom just sent me this photo of my paternal grandmother (the tiny one) and her mother and siblings; it always hung on the wall of my grandparents' house, across from the large oval photograph of my great great grandfather with the magnificent whiskers.
I love it.
