Not too many days feel as good as the past few days have felt. I have been lazy, unproductive and piggy….but insanely happy. I got time to veg with Angie…sleeping until the ungodly hours of the morning, groggily getting up but staying in our PJs while watching movies until it was time for dinner. I went shopping with Becks….harassing my fellow Target employees on my day off and being introduced to the amazing advancements made in hair removal for women and then wondering over to Shaw’s to drool over sushi. And Ken….watching cheesy movies, adding in some lines of our own to the script, laughing for hours and then, catching that moment that reminded you how fucking happy you were to be together, I had several of those just today,
Now I just need a teaching job for the fall….and I will be head-over-heels in love with my life.
Back to the grindstone tomorrow morning. Mmmm….two jobs are good for money, bad for sleeping and social habits.
