He's not bad lookin'.
He's running for Congress.
He had an illegitimate daughter over 15 yrs ago and he just paid the mother $100K of his mother's money to not go to the press with the story.
The daughter is the cheerleader who if you've heard about the show you might know is very powerful and practically invulnerable; she can regenerate her bodily tissues, etc. Very convenient. :-,
He has a wife who uses a wheelchair; he's not faithful to her. His little brother is a hero and trying to figure out and take control of his powers. Nathan wants him to cut it out with the hero stuff and tries to push him off his path. It's somewhat ambiguous how light/dark Nathan is. Maybe he just wants power; that's what his mother urges him to grab anyway. The story was that his father had a heart attack when he was sued only to have it revealed he actually killed himself but who knows if he's really even dead?
And Nathan can fly. Like a rocket, just WHOOSH - up, very high and away!
