-Herricane Katrina was downgraded to a category 4 hurricane at around 5 AM thismorning shortly after in made landfall east of Grand Ile, Louisianna.
-Maximum sustaned winds now at 145 mph
-Hurricane force winds will be felt in Tennesse
-There will be flooding in the Ohio river valley
-Lake Pontotchrain will soon be ofervlowed
-28 foot and higher storm surges are expected
-The city of New Orleans will be distroyed
-New Orleans will be unenhabitable fo weeks or more
-The entire state of Alamaba will be severly damaged
-State officials of Louisianna, Alamaba, Mississippi, and florida have declared a state of emergency
-Aproximatly nine people have died.
