(No, not that other thing.)

So I didn't know about LJ's new antiseptic white scrapbook hosting service until this morning, when I got a message that they had finished transferring all my pictures to it into strange locations and sometimes even the original album structure. I guess it was about time, since for years the old scrapbook has been slowly eating pictures randomly and generally been an unsafe place to keep things (they fixed it this time... right?). If you're like me, you should be ashamed of yourself got a report of all the pictures corrupted in this manner which failed to transfer, but unless you put titles on them all you didn't get any freaking clue what the hell they used to be or where they came from, and were left with a list of useless dead links. Here's how to fix that:

This link provided from the failure list doesn't go anywhere because it goes to the original image, which LJ just got finished telling you is gone. Yet...

This slightly different link suddenly takes you to originally formatted scrapbook page with the still intact image preview, description, tags, etc. If you hit "up", it will also go to the gallery LJ believes that it came from.

The preview doesn't still exist for all of them (about 50/50 for me), but you get a sense of what's missing or maybe at least from where. I think I probably have most of them on my hard drive still, so I'm not too broken up over the missing 18.
