Sneaky (VIOLENCE WARNING)
I've been meaning to post all these videos of my snake eating/yawning/climbing for awhile now, and then I thought, why not do a montage? And then I thought, why not do a musical montage?
And then, as I was doing it, I realized that wow, this is really ghastly.
So I know that some of you, especially if you happen to actually own rodents, will probably not enjoy 4 ½ minutes of mice dying what I can only assume are terrible deaths set to Alice Cooper's "Poison" (although honestly, every constrictor-related death I've ever seen is far worse). If this applies to you, you are STRONGLY ADVISED not to watch.
The only things missing are when he rubs his face against his body (a tender family moment) and when he strikes at one of the video mice and misses while the mouse keeps wiping itself. If you're curious, a normal feeding consists of only one bite with death (or incapacitation) occurring within about 3-10 seconds, followed by tracking and eating the mouse a minute or two later, and then a 7+ minute swallowing process. Snakes eat once every 1-2 weeks.
I'm going to do a rare thing and leave YouTube comments on out of sheer morbid curiosity, just to see how quickly the topic is derailed to Hitler, George Bush, or Creationism, and how many strangers inform me that I should die.
