Just when you thought it was safe to not take the bus
I was woken up this morning by a familiar noise.
"SHHHIIIIIIIIIIIR KA-CHUNK!"
I stepped outside. A gentle moisture covered the streets. No explanation needed…
Come on guys. Come on. It's not even funny now. Oh and then, as police and residents were all gathered, there came that "SHIIIIIIIIIR!" again as someone coming down the hill lost control of their brakes briefly. And we all collectively turned our heads, asking ourselves if someone was seriously about to crash into the same car in the same place with the police staring at them. That would've been magic.
Here's the skid on the curb. It goes up the hill about 4 times that length.
