Kicking off my B-day Weekend!
So yes! My Birthday weekend has officially begun! Spent the whole day at the farm today and took a video of my baby (my pony) Topanga after I groomed her, and got to ride a horse named Dolly (I rarely get to ride, so that was a big deal). I put ribbons in Topanga's hair, and then a friend of mine helped me clean her feet out and put some medicine in them. Me and my sweet girl had fun, and btw, Bullet might have liked dum-dums, but Topanga likes Lifesavers! YAY! And they're lower in sugar than peppermints and have more flavors! She likes hte variety, I think. ;) Anyway, here's a video! Pardon my small mess ups, like me almost calling her 21 and me messing up with positioning the camera. ;)
As you can tell, her color is definitely purple. ;) that's my grooming box behind her on hte wood posts. I love how she just kind of looks at me funny when I mess up with the "2-not 21, but. . ." She just kind of looks at me like, "Wrong, momma. . ." And Kennesa is actually the friend I have here who likes Labyrinth. :) I really do like Topanga's braids. I worked hard on them, and she just stood there, loving and licking my arms and hands. I think she gave me my "21 licks" for my birthday. ;)

yep. me and my baby. I seriously have been able to lie under her head before flat on the ground, with her turning her head around and watching out for me. And I was on the ground a lot today trying to brush all the sweat and dirt off her legs. I finally got it all off! So yep, I love my little Topanga! She may be stubborn sometimes, but what's life without a little bit of that, huh? According to Topanga, that's what we call "boring". (But most of the time, like 95% of it, she's super sweet. I'll literally walk with the lead rope just over my shoulder like a purse, not pulling her along in the slightest, and she'll match my steps, walking behind me without me even holding the rope or looking at her. :) I love her so much)
I was kissing her and she'd just kissed me. so cute! (Yeah, I quickly got rid of her biting problem. now all she'll probably do is lick you to death. lol)
No idea why I made that face. I really didn't think they were taking a picture. ;) Didn't seem Topanga was all that interested in the camera either. :)
The best 21st birthday present ever! I love my baby girl/diva!
My mother also got me something early for my birthday. You see, I rarely get flowers sent to me or given to me. Which really doesn't seem fair because she and my sister get them ALL THE TIME, and I'm always kind of left out (and this isn't boyfriend/husband flowers. This is like flowers from FAMILY members.). So my mama got me flowers for my birthday. Sure it's a little bit early, but I'm not complaining! ;) Thanks, Mom! I love you!
I also heard a song the other day. It makes me want to go tubing down a river, even though it's talking about a boat. I really want to go back to Helen, GA now and tube the hooch again. . . lol
I actually heard this song in Florida, and had it stuck in my head. I walked out into the water and danced a bit in the shallow water *grin* I don't really care if I looked stupid. I just had fun!
