a tall order

Somewhere between going to the Dan Didio (DC's executive editor) interview and the Greg Rucka interview at Heroes Con, I decided that I'm going to reread most of my DC comics from the past two and a half years. Roughly. I'm a pretty fast reader, and I tend to zip through my comics the day that I get them. While this generally keeps me caught up, I also leaves me with, shall we say, only general knowledge of what I just read. So I need to reread and pay more attention.

Donna Troy was killed off nearly three years ago. Since then, events have been building up to Infinite Crisis (not to be confused with Crisis on Infinite Earths, which was about twenty years ago). The thing is, it wasn't until about a year and a half ago that info about this Crisis started to come out, which means that there are hints and clues tucked away in comics from 2004 that are just paying off now. And, apparently, there are clues in events going on now that will come into play two years from now. It's not a perfect plan, of course - I don't read Green Lantern or Aquaman or any of the Superman comics. But the Internet can hopefully help with that.

Plus I want to reread Whiteout and Queen and Country, and catch up on Powers. And Jason wants me to read Fell and Global Frequency and Desolation Jones. I mean, there's nothing else going on this summer, right?...
