1. What was your first cosplay? (Think hard on this)
WELL. My first official cosplay was Izumi from Full Moon Wo Sagashite. It was actually really fun, and I had a lot of fun making it, but the wing harness was really painful... My first non-japanese costumingness I guess was Jafar from Aladin when I was way young.. what can I say, I prefer villains. XD
2. Did someone get you into cosplay? Or on your own?
I first found out about cosplay by seeing a picture of Yaya Han in her Lulu cosplay when I was looking up FFX pictures, and I was like OMG WATTT REAL PEOPLE AS CHARACTERS, WHAT"S THIS?! Soo then I did lots of researching and stuck with cosplaylab.com for a long time because I thought cos.com was too complicated. XD Also, yesod was the first cosplayer that i talked to and she definitely had a huge impact on my desire to cosplay. :P
3. What is your favourite cosplay?
I really enjoy my Trance Kuja cosplay.. He's my favorite villain and even though sharp turkey feathers occaisonally stabbing you isn't super fun, it was still one of my favorites to make and wear. For some reason when I wear it though, my arms stay out like in most of the poses I do.. they just stay like that for the whole day.
4. Which is your least favourite?
Well, I can't say I really dislike my cosplays, but my Izumi costume definitely needs to be altered, and I could make way better wings now. Also, Haseo enjoys not staying together at all times, which was a little frustrating.
5. At conventions, do people compliment you on your cosplays?
I have to agree with Christy, people used to. I mean, I do when my cosplays are like crazy over the top. When they're not it's just squeeing, glomping requests, and stalkers.
6. How many have you done?
Lol, only 11 but I feel like I've been doing it for a LONG time.
7. What is your list of "Want to Cosplay"?
Hurhurhur, I shouldn't be able to make a list... BUT,: Chrona from Soul Eater, Amano Trance Kuja (not hideous bedazzled kind), revamp of Izumi, fixing up and getting ALL details on my Beast Haseo cosplay, Persona who's name escapes me, most likely 1 or 2 of Christy's characters, most likely Serph from DDS after I play it... XD, and I kinda wanna make Azure Flame God Kite Avatar monstrocity, Seymour Guado, Lvl2 Cursed Seal Kimimaro (That was my dream cosplay from way back when and after seeing all the super fail ones, I may need to. XD), and many more that I cannot for the life of me remember
8. (Girls only) What female cosplay do you want to do most?
WELL. If I had to choose...
9. What male cosplay do you want to do most?
That is an impossible question, moving on.
10. What do you prefer to do, make or buy your costumes?
Make. I couldn't bring myself to buy one really. :/
11. Your most memorable experience? What makes it so memorable?
Lol last Otakon... it was oh so memorable. Would you like to see the memory? It's a giant burn on my right shoulder!
12. Your dream cosplay?
I feel like I made a cosplay list not too long ago... the one with pictures! but I don't recall. My dream cosplays kinda all mush together but it'll be something ridiculous.
13. Is there a pattern in your cosplays? If so, what? (Things like they have a certain personality, or hair colour)
Well, I typically go for characters with really crazy eyes, and cool hair. But crazieness in personality goes a LONNNG way for me, like villains and just insane characters are my favorite.
14. Your most recent cosplay?
Haseo.. hurhurhuhur
15. What do you prefer? Cosplaying in a group or on your own?
A group for sure. I mean, I don't need the people to be from my series, I just like to have atleast one person with me who is cosplaying too. :P Having someone from the same series is always fun though. :D
Those are my answers~ I know I forgot a lot of characters on my list, but ah well. And in an additional note, something that a lot of people mention is being comfortable in cosplay, and to me, I don't care if it's painful or comfortable as long as I like how it looks! XD
