Sookie
If anything, learning what she was and what that meant back in December had made Sookie stronger. While the anger and fear that coursed through her lit her up like a candle, she was able to focus her powers a bit better.
Like in Agio, she turned her sights to the skies, her hands glowing purple.
Unlike in Agio, though, her mind stayed intact, and her emotions bubbled to the surface but didn't take her over as she strode on, prepared for any attack that may come.
Demons
That attack would be coming soon. A demon swooped down to inspect Sookie closer -- no, this one wasn't the one Trigon desired. Which of course, meant it was free to breath a burst of fire at her.
Sookie
She moved with an agility she didn't know she had, which made her wonder if Niall or Claudine was watching her even here. Sookie darted out of the way, catching fire on her pants hem and letting it smolder.
Instead, to retaliate, she shot a bolt of violet towards the creature, aiming for its wings.
Demons
Ow ow ow ow ow OW. The demon screamed as its thin wings flashed and dissolved, eaten away as the energy hit it. It dropped from the sky and hit the ground hard.
Another demon was giving Sookie a wide berth, looking for an opportunity to attack. As long as these humans were alive, they would obey their master's order to destroy them.
