We had a very Republican house guest last weekend.
When they found out I worked in health insurance, they said, "I heard that ObamaCare..."
(When you hear "ObamaCare" you know the conversation has already gone south)
Very Republican House Guest: "I heard that ObamaCare will destroy the whole insurance industry because everybody will have to have insurance and it will cost too much to cover them so they'll go bankrupt and then nobody will have insurance."
Me: "... Where did you hear that?"
Very Republican House Guest: "That's what everybody is saying."
Me: "Yeah, uh... that's completely wrong."
Very Republican House Guest: "Well I don't know, that's just what I've heard."
*sigh*
