2007 in recap
time passes so quickly and even rather significant events are like teeny blips i seem to forget even happened.
let's see how significant (or not) 2007 was...
- welcomed the new year in london at some indie club with leonard and supei (i forget the name..it was near 'the end' club).
- prior spent a great 06 xmas holiday skiing in austria (klagenfurt) with len, naboo, mindy and mario. also traipsed about london going to borough market, the gunners stadium (with len and darryl), damn yumm xmas cookout.
- came back and got promoted which wasn't too much of a big deal but still post worthy
- around May : applied for and got the UK working holiday visa but didn't use it in the end
- went to london (again!!) in June to visit Leonut. went on a side trip holiday to Krakow which was fantastic, i love.
- i think Len came back in July/August. for good. hm,at least for now.
- got my Chestor!!!!!!!! i love him so much.
- joined book club. nicee.
- signed up for 24 pilates classes which i am struggling to finish (i've only gone for 3 lessons so far)
- went to Malacca for company trip
- started a rather difficult job hunt process
- finally found a new job in dec in the finance industry. my new office happens to be just 1 floor above my current one. how strange.
- tendered resignation in dec. being my 1st job and it lasting 3 years, the change is necessary but i teared writing the resignation letter. i've grown in so many ways since 3 years ago..many firsts here.
- awaiting start of new job now..
- workwise, went to : Beijing in Jan, KL in Feb, Manila in March and Nov, Seoul in June, Bangkok in May, June & Sep, Khon Kaen in Sep, Japan(Tokyo,Fukuoka,Nagoya) in Jul, Jakarta in Aug, Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi in Oct. All great learning experiences...new job prob won't have any travel for first few years. too bad..
2007 was interesting. i don't know how 2008 will fare in comparison....
