Dreamwidth has the newest
demo of the update page up. Wooooaaaah, it's so shiiiiny.
The page is customizable, with a drag and drop feature. Pretty sweet.
Even better? They actually care about user's privacy. We do hope to add Facebook and Twitter crossposting someday, along with Wordpress, Tumblr, Movable Type/TypePad, etc, etc, but it will have to be set up by the end-user, and if we ever allow the crossposting of comments (which I sincerely doubt we will), it will only be available on locked entries if the comment poster is the same as the entry poster. (So, nobody will be able to crosspost comments from your locked entries.)
What's the funniest thing? Looking at their
stats page, on the by day section there were over 9,000 new accounts on the 1st.
*snorts*
Ah LJ, making
Dreamwidth more popular since September 2010.
