I have to say - love Oregon's system of voting, with our mail in or drop off ballots.
It's nice to not have to worry about standing in line; did wait until today and just dropped it off rather than mailing it though. Save on postage that way.
And now for a meme, that I've stolen from a bunch of my flist.
1. Stop talking about politics for a moment or two.
2. Post a reasonably-sized picture in your LJ, NOT under a cut tag, of something pleasant, such as an adorable kitten, or a fluffy white cloud, or a bottle of booze. Something that has NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS.
3. Include these instructions, and share the love.
This is a photo I took on my cell a few weeks ago of my horse Senor and my sister's dog Nate. Nate hates gunfire and someone was shooting just as I made it out to the arena to catch my horse. Nate ended up sitting right in front of me for protection, which also meant he was in front of Senor.
So Senor thought he'd check him out; now usually as soon as the dog feels a horse sniffing him, he takes off, but not this time. Senor ended up sniffing all around his head, down his body and back up to snuffle around the head again. That's when I finally thought to take a pic on my phone.
Even more amazing Nate (who detests getting photos taken and usually runs off) heard me, turned and looked at me and still didn't move. hee!
