Classes went well, I got to talk to my dad, I had delicious food in a new restaurant, and other than one mistake, I was extremely satisfied with my poker performance. Also, despite trying to twist my ankle on three separate occasions, nothing was hurt but my pride. At the restaurant, one dude started to sing an English Christmas song, so I joined him, much to the staff's amusement. One guy spoke a bit of English and tried to talk to me, bringing me over a free Coke.
Speaking of Christmas songs, though, I've heard the same three over and over again. They do come in different versions, including some strange techno, but I keep hearing "Feliz Navidad", "White Christmas", and that "last Christmas, I gave you my heart" song. Seriously. Everywhere. Same three songs. You cannot escape. I should have brought my mp3 player.
