Wah!!! I totally intended to update about my week and talk about the field trip I went on with the kids to a grape farm in addition to the rafting I did on Saturday. I want to hear about your rafting adventure. I hope it was fun. I have to jet though cuz I'm outta here for 3 days in Danville, home of meat, meat and nothing but meat. LOL!

You're famous. My dad just spoke w/ the owner of the Jim Thorpe Jail and they're putting out a book of ghost stories from the jail. While you are not mentioned by name, you and your story are in the book. If you'd like a copy, let me know and when it comes out I'll find a way to get it to you.

How is everything going with the new job in a new town?

I'm still getting used to some quirks, but doing great. This weekend Kate & Randy threw a kickin' party, and I found an arcade downtown where the Korean DDR is only 40 cents a game! If I could only find an arcade closer to my house, I'd be really set. There is a fun entertainment place opening up outside my window that looks like it might have one in addition to a cafe, PC room, private movie rooms, and private karaoke rooms. I've been staring at it since I got here, and it should open this week from what the dude inside said. When new places open around here, they throw big grand opening parties with signs, decorations, and cute girls handing out stuff. I'm sure I won't miss that from across the street.

They didn't say if I was mentioned or not. When we get a copy, I'll let you know, but it might not be for a while yet.. I don't know if they're out.

The new job is going well. Once you get around the politics and the paperwork, the job itself is not bad. The new town takes some getting used to, but my new apartment is groovy. Well... almost half-groovy.

DDR at 40 cents a game? You must have been in Heaven. I liked your pictures. Once I get internet at the apartment, I'll try to remember to put some up of my place.

They're hoping to have the book out by this Christmas. THey're running the tours again this October, apparently they were given "permission" by the ghosts. That cell on the second floor that the owners said we'd feel something when walking past is now completely boarded (sp?) up so that you can barely even tell there was once a door there. No one would tell me why.
