My first triathlon

I did my first triathlon yesterday, the Golden State Triathlon. It's a sprint-distance tri in Sacramento. The weather was perfect, if a little cold.

I entered as an Athena and took 4th place - good enough for an award. :) Not bad for a first-timer!
I'm officially hooked, but now I have to wait 6 months for another race... sigh... more time to ride the bike, I suppose. It needs work. :)
