I'm sure a few of you have heard about this community that takes icons you post and hotlinks them. They do about 200 icons per second:

You can block the picture feed from taking graphics from your journal with the Admin Console.
For personal journals type set latest_optout yes in the box.
For a community the maintainer can type set "for" CommunityName latest_optout yes
I just did it for my personal journal, and fukikomu and I suggest getting the word out to those who also run graphics communities, icontests...etc.
