Eames wasn't pacing nervously as he sat on the bench outside Ariadne's school; it didn't appear that he wanted to, either, to anyone who didn't know him. But the drum of his fingers on his knee, the reflexive glance of his eyes to the school front; impatient seeming to some was actually Eames working out nervous energy.

"Eames! You didn't say you were coming to pick me up." She leans over the bench to drop a kiss on his cheek.

"I thought I might take you home for lunch, since I have something I want to talk to you about. Nothing terrible," he adds as an afterthought.

"A mysterious something...Is this a work related something or...?" Her nature is insatiably curious.

He tenses, slightly, shaking his head. "Something of another nature entirely. Actually, nature is the crux of it," he offers, knowing she'll get what he means.

"In a little while, pet," he said, tugging her in the direction of a small park that was filled with trees near his house. He deflected any questions she had until they got there, and he led her to the middle of it. Only then did he start to speak.
"I wanted to know if you'd be okay with me showing you the wolf," He told her, serious.
